Daisy Hieland Headshot

Daisy

Daisy started Turquoise Pearl in 2009,  with a goal of creating costumes that could showcased her love of dance.

A former ballroom and belly dancer, Daisy now focuses her dance training on classical ballet.

Being a dancer herself she is keenly aware of how the fit and feel of a costume can bring out the best in a dancer.  Knowing this Daisy will continually go the extra mile to find the perfect cut and style to flatter a performer while allowing them the freedom to confidently present their best on stage.

Daisy currently lives and works in the Cowichan Valley with her husband Cash and two adorable kitties, who you may meet if you stop by for a custom fitting.

Cash

Formerly in the navy, Cash is now part of the family business.

Cutting most of the costumes and helping keep the duo on schedule, Cash also creates amazing armor pieces and accessories.

Cash is a member of the local SCA group, an avid archer and a recreational hockey player.  He loves to spend time in the garden and can also cook a mean steak given half a chance.
